Kalikot, September 3:

The government has started supplying food grains to starving in Kalikot from yesterday. The food grains are being supplied by helicopter after landslides obstructed the Karnali Highway.

The government has allocated 500 quintals of rice for immediate relief to the district. Of which, 30 quintals have been brought to the district yesterday.

Chief at Nepal Food Corporation, Kalikot office, Shankar Sapkota said the rest of the food grain would be brought by Sunday.
