Rajbiraj, May 3:

The Nepali Congress, Saptari, has accused security forces of manhandling political detainees of the district jail this morning.

Issuing a press statement, the party has demanded stern action against the guilty personnel. The statement also said an NC delegation was not allowed to meet the detainees.

Chief District Officer Pokhrel said the detainees had got into a fight among themselves due to some misunderstanding, and no security person was involved.
