Foreign Minister Gyawali meets his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar in New Delhi

KATHMANDU: Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, who in on an official visit to India, has met with Minster of External Affairs of India, S Jaishankar.

The Foreign Minsters of India and Nepal are in a meeting at the Hyderabad House in the Indian capital.

Various bilateral issues concerning the two countries will be discussed during the talks. Likewise, Minister Gyawali would discuss the procurement of vaccines for Covid-19 from India at the same time.

The Sixth Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting will immediately follow the talks between Gyawali and Jaishankar.

It is to be seen whether or not the border issue between the two countries will be taken up at the meeting. While Nepal has said it would be discussed among other issues during this visit, Indian Ministry of External Affairs has hinted that the matter would not be entertained at this moment.
