KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 16
Foreign Minister Bala Nanda Sharma is leaving for Dhaka today to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Bangladesh's newly elected government.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the minister will represent Nepal at the swearing-in ceremony of the new administration in Bangladesh.
"This visit reflects Nepal's commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and deepening the bonds of cooperation between Nepal and Bangladesh," the MoFA said.
Foreign minister Sharma will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry during the visit.
He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on 19 February.
