Janakpur, May 26:
Chairman of the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum (MJF) Upendra Yadav has termed the government move of forming a commission to probe the Madhes agitation a “positive step”.
Talking to journalists here today, he said, “Talks with the government can be held soon if the latter provides security to MJF leaders and withdraws cases filed against them.”
Yadav also sought action against those found involved in violence and arson during the agitation. He warned the government not to take proposed talks with the MJF as a ploy. He urged the government to treat and compensate those who were injured in course of the agitation.
