KHOTANG: A former head constable of Nepal Police was found dead in Diktel Municipality-15 of Khotang district, on Sunday.

Identified as 45-year-old Khila KC, a permanent resident of Diktel in Khotang, KC was found dead in a maize field nearby his home.

According to locals, KC was a regular boozer and had left the home on Saturday evening under the influence of alcohol before being found dead in the maize field.

Inebriated KC might have died after slipping on the muddy way, said Police Inspector Saroj Rai.
