DAMAULI: The family of former king Gyanendra Shah is visiting Mugling. The former royal family has been staying at Motel Du Muglin of Aanbukhaireni Municipality for the past two days.

Former queen Komal Shah, former princess Himani Shah and her children, along with the former king have been staying at the hotel, said inspector Lem Prasad Sen of Area Police Office, Aanbukhaireni.

According to hotel sources, the royal family also rafted in the Trishuli River. SP Krishna Kumar Mahat said security has been beefed up at the hotel and its vicinity as the ex-royals were on a family tour.

It is said the family will be leaving for Pokhara via Chitwan. Former prince Parash Shah, however, has not joined the family tour.
