Former minister Moti Prasad Pahadi died due to COVID-19 infection while undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital this morning.

According to Bheri Hospital Chief Dr Prakash Thapa, 77-year-old Pahadi died at 1:40am today.

Pahadi was a resident of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City in Banke district. He was admitted to Bheri Hospital last Wednesday after the oxygen level dropped in his body.

Having been infected with COVID-19, he was availing treatment in home-isolation.

He was also a patient of high blood pressure and diabetes He was rushed to the hospital as he developed complications after oxygen level in his body plummeted.
