KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party's Federal Council Baburam Bhattarai has urged all democratic forces to unite against Prime Minister's KP Sharma Oli's move to dissolve the House of Representatives.

"PM Oli's move to recommend house dissolution is against the spirit of democracy is anti-constitution. Prime Minister's irresponsible is harmful for democracy," Bhattarai stated in a video shared on his social networking profiles.

Oli government on Sunday morning decided to recommend the President to dissolve the House of Parliament following months of internal rift in the ruling Nepal Communist Party.
