Former president Ram Baran Yadav has stressed that investment to be made in Nepal should be nature-friendly.
In his address to a project launching ceremony organised by the Idea Group here today, the first president of Nepal was of the view that Nepal remained a highly potential zone for investments in hydropower, tourism, agriculture and herbs processing.
The group, with its headquarters in Hong Kong, is a multinational company comprising Non-resident Nepali and foreign partners. It has attempted to launch 'Idea for Nepal'.
On the occasion, Yadav urged the non-resident Nepalis to utilise their knowledge, skills and expertise in the country and make contributions to create job opportunities for youths and discourage them from leaving their motherland for overseas employment.
He also urged the NRNs to come up with creative and innovative ideas for the welfare of the country. He urged all sides to contribute to the resolution of existing issues related to the court and Parliament.
Similarly, Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of Province 1 Kedar Karki expressed hope that 'Idea for Nepal' would follow the concept of uplifting Nepal in the international arena.
"A well-equipped parking lot will be built in Biratnagar soon in cooperation with the organisation," he said.
