Four held for assault

Kathmandu, February 5:
A group of four persons yesterday evening attacked Ale Tamang with iron rods at Kirtipur.
Tamang, 16, was returning to his residence at Jaisidebal, when the hooligans attacked him, police said.
Tamang is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital in critical condition. According to the police, all four have been taken into custody.
All of them are learnt to be working at Bagh Bhairab Catering Service, police said.
In another case, Ward Police Office, Baneshwor arrested Krishna Acharya, 22, for trying to cheat a restaurant owner at Koteshwor.
An incident of theft was also reported at KMC-7 yesterday. According to the police, a group of unidentified persons broke into the house owned by Rajendra Prasad Shrestha when family members were away.
They took away property worth Rs 400,000 including cash and jewellery.
