RAJBIRAJ, MAY 27
Property worth Rs 2.5 million was gutted when a fire engulfed four houses at Saptari's Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality-5, on Friday.
Police said that blaze turned four houses into ashes. The fire had started from the house of Mahendra Kamait.
Houses of Shankar Kamiat, Satrudhan Kamait and Bharat Kamait were gutted in the incident, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Kafle. Personnel of Police, APF and Nepal Army had brought the fire under control with help of firefighters.
The fire has destroyed food grains, utensils and clothes. Displaced families are taking shelter at their neighbours' houses.
