Four students secure GPA 4.0 in Kaski

Pokhara, June 28

Four students from as many schools have secured Grade Point Average (GPA) 4.0 in this year’s Secondary Education Examinations in Kaski. A total of 106 students from across the country have secured GPA 4.0 this year.

In Kaski, Monika Gautam of Gandaki Boarding School, Dipesh Pariyar of Morning Star Boarding School, Sujal Poudel of Amarsingh Secondary School and Salina Khadka of Saint Mary’s School secured the highest GPA 4.0. Of them, Amarsingh is a community school.

Last year, seven students from the district had secured GPA 4.0 in the SEE exam.

A day after the results were published, the Gandaki Province is yet to get the district-wise breakdown of the results.

“As the National Examination Board has taken time to send us the district-wise data and we don’t have accurate data about students who have secured GPA 4.0 in Kaski this time,” said Education Development and Coordination Unit Committee Kaski Chief Narayan Prasad Subedi.

“As we don’t have the official data, we can’t say if the results this year are better or worse,” added Subedi.
