RAUTAHAT, AUGUST 9

A free anti-rabies vaccination camp for dogs was organised in Gaur, the district headquarters of Rautahat, to reduce the risk of rabies transmission and promote animal health.

According to the organisers, 30 dogs were vaccinated against rabies on the first day of the campaign. The remaining dogs will be vaccinated in phases.

The campaign was initiated by dog lovers with the support of social worker Santosh Poudel. It aims to raise awareness about the health of both pet and stray dogs and help protect communities from rabies.

Poudel said the campaign was launched for the first time to promote dog health and community safety and pledged to continue the initiative in the coming days.

The organisers urged dog owners and other stakeholders to ensure that dogs receive regular anti-rabies vaccinations and participate in the campaign.
