FSF-N to forge electoral alliance with RJP-N, NC: Leader Yadav
KATHMANDU: The General Secretary of Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Ram Sahaya Yadav said the party would forge electoral alliance with the Rastriya Janta Party-Nepal and Nepali Congress for upcoming polls to address the feelings of Madhesi people.
He clarifed this alliance for the upcoming polls only not for the party merger with other like-minded parties at an interaction programme in Kathmandu on Monday.
"We are in alliance with NC for the elections only not for merger with NC. CPN-UML and Maoist Centre have also forged electoral alliance for the polls, party unification is not possible with a surface homework," Yadav Shared.
He said the party would take the leadership role for retaining the rights of Indigenous, Muslim, Tharu among other marginalised communities in the nation.
Similarly, CPN Maoist Centre central leader Chakrapani Khanal speaking at the programme clarified that the party had held discussion regarding unification with the UML rather than electoral alliance despite being in the coalition government.
He accused PM Sher Bahadur Deuba and Nepali Congress of deliberately questioning the CPN Maoist Centre's political morality in public.
Khanal said the earlier alliance with NC was for local levels.
He said the CPN Maoist Centre would support the government and asserted that the broader alliance with the UML is for people and the nation.
