GAIGHAT: Police in Udayapur arrested two absconding convicts from different places on Wednesday. The arrested convicts are Motilal Tamang, 55, of Triyuga municipality-11, Lalpatta and Bam Bahadur Sunuwar, 62, of Triyuga municipality-1. According to police, Tamang was on the run for the past 19 years. He was convicted by the district court on the charge of timber smuggling. According to DSP Om Rana, Tamang was arrested from his home. Similarly, Sunuwar was convicted in a corruption case five years ago. Police nabbed him from his home.
