KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 9
Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa saw international flight operations from three airlines today.
Jazeera Airways landed with 171 passengers, while Fly Dubai and Nepal Airlines also conducted flights at the airport.
According to Pratap Babu Tiwari, General Manager of GBIA, Jazeera Airways will operate flights three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Fly Dubai will run a daily flights to and from the airport. Meanwhile, Nepal Airlines, the national flag carrier, is set to operate three flights weekly to Dubai on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
With today's operations, GBIA has now hosted flights from four international airlines, as Thai Asia Airlines has already commenced its services at the airport.
