SIRAHA: A teenage girl was raped by a group of boys in Siraha, Dhangadimai  Municipality on Saturday.

Sources at Area Police Office Gol Bazaar said  two boys raped the girl when she had come out of her home to address  nature’s call at night.

Her kin had rushed her to the nearby health  facility upon seeing her lying unconscious in front of the house the  following morning, just to find that she was raped. The girl is now  undergoing treatment at the health facility.

Meanwhile, police,  suspecting attempts to cover up the incident, have stepped up  investigation. “Search for the rapists is on,” said Inspector Rajedra  Kumar Upadhyaya. Police have refused to disclose the names of  perpetrators citing the ongoing investigation.
