POKHARA: A 10-year-old girl was raped and subsequently murdered in Kaski district last Saturday.

She was murdered after being raped by her brother-in-law Ishwor BK (20) of Bhadauretamagi-1 of the district, said DSP Gajju Siddhi Bajracharya.

Her body was found in the garden behind her house at around 5:30 am on Sunday, he added.

During the interrogation, BK had confessed the crime, police said.

He would be charged under murder case.

The victim’s body has been kept at the Western Regional Hospital for postmortem.
