Girl students are compelled to spend sleepless nights after the hostel building belonging to Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Lamjung Campus started leaking at Sundar Bazaar in Lamjung.

The girls have been facing problems since the beginning of monsoon. They said they had to spend the many sleepless nights after the hostel authority paid no attention to the leaking roofs. A girl student, Anisha Shrestha, said she remained busy collecting rainwater from the floor of her room on buckets at nights. She said they were having difficulty protecting their study materials and clothes. As many as 36 students lived in the hostel.

Meanwhile, campus chief Bishnu  Bilas Adhikari said he had informed the authority concerned to resolve  the hostel problem.
