KATHMANDU, JULY 14

The price of gold surged by Rs 1,100 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

With the increase, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 192,900 per tola, up from Rs 191,800 on Friday.

Silver also saw a price rise of Rs 65 per tola, reaching Rs 2,285, compared to Rs 2,220 per tola two days earlier.
