Gorkha quake survivors receive warm clothes

KATHMANDU: A group of social workers have distributed warm clothes to the earthquake survivors of Aaru Pokhari, in the northern part of Gorkha district.

The warm clothes including blankets were jointly handed over by litterateur Yubaraj Nayaghare and Volunteer Ministers Nepal chapter's production director Guna Raj Pyakurel to local representatives of ward no 6, 7 and 9 of the village.

Similarly, the group also distributed clothes to the students of Dharapani Secondary School in Aaru Pokhari.

Principal Lal Prasad Khanal said that this relief would help the students have a positive message about social works.

Litterateur Nayaghare expresses his happiness over being a part of such a noble cause.

Similarly, Pyakurel said that the organisation had also helped in reconstruction works after earthquake and now it was glad for being able to help the locals in the district.

Many orgnisations had provided support in the relief distribution work.
