‘Government set to launch big projects’

Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari today said the government was busy formulating federal laws in line with the federal set-up.
Speaking at a programme organised by Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in Pokhara, Minister Adhikari held that the government had formulated 150 laws and amended 300 laws to empower the local levels. He informed that the government was all set to launch development programmes so that people felt the change immediately.
“The government needs support from all sides as it is about to launch big projects to bring about change in people’s lives,” he said..
Adhikari said he was working to make Nepal Airlines Corporation competitive in the international market. “The Tribhuvan International Airport is operating round-the-clock after I assumed the charge of my ministry,” Adhikari claimed.
