Govt approves oil pipeline action plan
KATHMANDU: In a bid to ease the import of petroleum products to Nepal and make the process effective, a cabinet meeting today approved an action plan to stretch pipeline from India’s Rakshaul to Nepal’s Amlekhgunj.
The cabinet also gave its nod to fell trees for the construction of the Kathmandu-Tarai fast track. The cabinet also decided to write up the
government owned corporations, which have already been sent to
liquidation.
Further, the cabinet approved Chief of Army Staff Chhatra Man Singh Gurung’s visit to United Kingdom slated from October 4 to 8.
The meeting also decided to elevate Brigadier General of Nepali Army Kumar Budhatoki to the post of Major General.
