Govt-FA agreement
KATHMANDU: A meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi and leaders of the Federal Alliance held on Sunday at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Singha Durbar decided to prepare lists of injured and disabled people and lawsuits filed against those involved in movements. “After we sort out and verify the lists within two days, the government will implement the second point of the agreement within the next two-three days,” said Sadbhawana Party leader Laxman Lal Karna. The second point of the three-point agreement reached between the Nepali Congress and CPN-MC and FA before electing CPN-MC Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal PM states the government would arrange treatment of the injured, provide compensation to those who got disabled during the Madhes and indigenous movements and withdraw fake lawsuits against protesters.
