‘Govt mired in corruption’

Kavre, April 14

Nepali Congress General Secretary Shashank Koirala today accused the incumbent government of being entangled in corruption.

Speaking at a programme organised by Nepali Congress Banepa Municipal Committee in Banepa, Koirala held that the country would not be able to witness and experience good governance and rule of law from the corrupt government.

Koirala flayed the government for distributing big dreams to hoodwink people instead of carrying out indispensable development works. “Nepali people want improved public transport. But, the prime minister is talking big about rail and ship. This proves that the government is talking big and doing little or nothing,” Koirala stated.

Koirala argued that Prime Minister Oli was focused on mustering all the powers unto himself instead of fulfilling people’s needs and wants. “Oli is trying to bring the judiciary, the Nepali Army and police administration under his control. He is doing nothing to improve people’s living conditions,” Koirala said.
