BHAIRAHAWA: Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Upendra Yadav today said the government was making a mockery of the democratic system.

Addressing a press conference organised by the district chapter of MJF, Yadav said, "The government, which lacks the people's mandate, is led by those defeated in the election, flouting the democratic norms."

"The country has lost its image in the international arena, since it is governed by those who lack the people's trust," he said, challenging the Prime Minister either to forge consensus to end the political deadlock or to resign from the post, giving an outlet to the problem.

The MJF chair said his party would launch the Jana Andolan III as the government had not implemented the past agreements reached with the Madhes-based parties.
