KATHMANDU: Deputy Director General of the Department of Health Services Ramesh Bikram Singh has been arrested while taking bribe from service seekers on Monday, CIAA said.

In a statement today Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority said DDG Singh was caught red handed at the premises of the Department.

He was held while taking bribe of Rs 10,000 with an employee, according to CIAA spokesperson Jeevraj Koirala.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
