Former prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli today accused the incumbent government of plunging the country into chaos.

Oli alleged that the finance minister had destroyed country's economy while the home minister had demolished peace and harmony.

"Rule of law is being destroyed under the patronage of the law minister," Oli charged.

Addressing Nepal Intellectual Council's Province 1 conference in Biratnagar, Oli accused the government of protecting those who padlocked Tribhuvan University for the last six months. Coming down heavily on top leaders of the Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Centre, CPN-Unified Socialists, Oli accused them of plundering the national coffers and pushing the country into abyss. He did not spare Chair Rabi Lamichhane of Rastriya Swatantra Party and commented that no one should be carried away by the magic show staged by some independents.
