Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand has said the government is sensitive about the development of industrial environment in the country.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the National Industrial Exhibition in Butwal today, Minister Khand stated that such industrial fairs have helped unveil the concerns of industrialists and added that the government was committed to resolving such problems.
Stating that it was common responsibility of all political parties to address the challenges faced by industrialists and entrepreneurs, Minister Khand claimed that the first priority of the new government would be ensuring vibrant economy and promoting industries and business.
He also asked the banks and financial institutions to address the issues of high interest rate through talks and pointed out the need to decrease high interest rate.
Also speaking at the event, Mayor of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City Khel Raj Pandey said that his team was working to develop Butwal as a pride city of the country and called for cooperation from all political parties, industrialists and others for the advancement of the Motipur Industrial Estate.
Organised with the purpose of exhibiting domestic products and ensuring marketing, the exhibition has a total of 450 stalls of different domestic products and technology.
The exhibition will also serve as platform for a direct meeting between industrialists and buyers and will also see several interaction programmes on promotion and development of qualitative competition of the produced goods, the organiser said.
The exhibition is expected see participation of around 700,000 visitors and economic transaction worth Rs 250 million.
