BIRATNAGAR, OCTOBER 24

Ruling Nepali Congress (NC)'s leader Dr Shekhar Koirala suggested that the incumbent government should accelerate developmental activities.

In a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union, Morang chapter today, leader Koirala observed that the public had high hope from the incumbent government formed to ensure political stability in the country.

He reiterated that the government should pay attention towards public's concerns and development efforts, noting that time was running short for the government to fulfill its commitment.

Advocating for the significance of federalism for overall development of the country, he viewed that the provinces should be granted authority to make them stronger.

On another note, leader Koirala clarified that the incumbent government had no priority to revise the Political Parties Act.
