Govt to conduct feasibility study on resumption of Biratnagar Jute Mill
BIRATNAGAR: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Yadav stated that the government would carry out a study regarding the resumption of Biratnagar Jute Mill.
After the field visit on Saturday, Minister Yadav said that the government was doing homework to resume the state-owned sick industries.
Minister Yadav said a probe panel would be formed to study whether or not the jute mill can be resumed after the technical monitoring, probe into corruption and rest aspects. Currently, the Biratnagar Jute Mill is closed despite the government's efforts for running it.
