KATHMANDU, AUGUST 30
The government has decided to create temporary posts under different ministries to facilitate the functions of their projects for the running fiscal 2022-23.
Disclosing the decisions of the meeting of the Council of Ministers held yesterday, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said the government would hire 30 temporary employees for projects under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies. They include 28 employees equivalent to different gazetted classes and two employees equivalent to the seventh level.
Similarly, the government has decided to hire 441 temporary employees equivalent to different gazetted class for projects under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. As per yet another decision, the government will recruit 50 temporary employees equivalent to different gazetted classes for projects under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. The government will also appoint 47 temporary employees for projects under the Ministry of Forests and Environment.
Similarly, 105 temporary employees will be hired for various programmes and committees of Medical Education Commission and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Likewise, the government has decided to accept a concessional loan of around Rs 17 billion to be provided by International Development Association of the World Bank Group for Digital Nepal Acceleration Project. The Cabinet has also granted permission to Vice-chair of National Planning Commission Biswo Nath Poudel to represent Nepal at the 53the Board of Governors meeting of ICI- MOD to be held in Bhutan next week. The government has authorised Agriculture Inputs Company Ltd to procure fertiliser in line with a MoU signed with India.
