KATHMANDU, MAY 24

The government has stated in its policies and programmes that it would make legal provisions and put in place institutional mechanisms to complete the remaining tasks of the peace process in a manner that will find truth, ensure justice for conflict victims, and address the issues of reparation and reconciliation.

Reading out the 66- page document on government's policies and programmes in the Parliament, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari said necessary resources would be provided to constitutional bodies to make their work effective and result oriented.

The government has also said that it will fulfil the responsibilities created by Nepal's adherence to international treaties and conventions.
