BHOHPUR: It rained heavily, full of hailstones, in eastern hilly district of Bhojpur on Friday.

The driving rain in Dingla region in northern Bhojpur set off at about 1 pm and have damaged the crops including rice and millet in abundance, according to a local farmer Upendra Bhatta.

The driving rain has also affected people who were supposed to visit relatives for Tika and Jamara in the Dashain festival.
