DAMAULI: Heavy hailstorm on Sunday night destroyed oranges and seasonal vegetables at Ghansikuwa, Tanahunsur, Dharampani, and other places in Tanahun.

The local farmers have been worried after their crops were destroyed by the sudden rainfall after the hailstorm. Laxman Shrestha, a local farmer, said the hailstorm had destroyed oranges he was preparing to take to the 6th Tanahun Festival.

Planning Officer Shashi Ghale at District Agriculture Development Office, Tanahun, said his office is studying the extent of destruction caused in the district.
