Nayanpur Hospital in Siraha has shut its services partially after some of its staffers were diagnosed with coronavirus. COVID-19 was confirmed among three health workers, including a doctor, today.

"Now that some health workers have tested positive for the virus, and we have to conduct contact-tracing of those people who might have come in their contact, the hospital has been sealed for the time being. All services, except emergency-related ones, have been shut," said the hospital management committee Chairperson Prakash Yonjan.

Yonjan is also the ward chairperson of Dhangadhimai Municipality.

Further, he informed that the hospital would come into operation after completion of contact-tracing and once it was disinfected.
