Heavy rain forecast for three days

The Flood Forecasting Section of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast fairly widespread rainfall in most places and heavy rainfall in a few places for the next three days.
According to the forecast, western, central and eastern regions, especially mid-hill areas in the east, are expected to receive average to heavy rainfall tomorrow. On Tuesday, central and mid-hill areas in the eastern regions are expected to witness average rainfall.
According to flood bulletin issued by the section today, districts including Gorkha, Dhading, Lamjung, Kaski, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Nuwakot, Dolakha and surrounding districts are expected to witness heavy rainfall tomorrow, and there might be flash floods in small rivers. The section has urged people residing in inundation-prone areas in the Tarai, Chure and mid-hills to exercise caution until tomorrow as the water level is rising in rivers originating from Chure and Mahabharata ranges. It has also urged people to stay alert around the Bagmati and Narayani rivers.
