KATHMANDU, AUGUST 2
A few places in Bagmati Province are likely to experience heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning today, influenced by the Monsoon wind, according to the Meteorological Forecast Division. Similar weather conditions are expected in a few locations of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Meanwhile, some places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali provinces, and one or two locations in other provinces are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall, as per the MFD.
Throughout the day and night, the country will experience partial to general weather conditions.
As the day progresses into the night, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning in one or two locations of Bagmati, Koshi, and Gandaki provinces, while several other places in those provinces will witness light to moderate rainfall.
Additionally, the MFD has issued alerts for strong winds in some areas of the Terai region of Koshi and a few places in Madhesh Provinces.
