Police have arrested a person for his alleged involvement in looting people in Manthali Municipality, Ramechhap, on Saturday. The person has been identified as Safan Gole of Melung Rural Municipality.
Police said Gole was arrested for looting Dal Bahadur Tamang and Binod Basnet in the municipality. A group of four persons, including Gole, looted one lakh cash and two tola gold jewellery from them. Police said they had been searching for other people involved in the incident.
