‘HoR dissolution promoted instability’

PARSA, JANUARY 11

Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal Upendra Yadav has said that the government’s move dissolving the House of Representatives has created unstable political environment in the country.

At a protest rally in Birgunj today, Yadav said that the HoR dissolution had invited political instability and weakened democracy in the country.

Yadav, also the former deputy prime minister, said that Nepal should maintain balanced and friendly relations on the basis of equality with both the immediate neighbouring countries.

He also argued that the current political issue should be resolved through political ways instead of constitutionally.

During the programme, Chief Minister of Province 2 Lalbabu Raut said that the current political instability has given space for manoeuvring to the anti-federal democratic republican forces.

The HoR dissolution has given opportunity to those awaiting regression in the country’s political spectrum, the chief minister argued.

Party leaders Laxman Lal Karn, Ram Naresh Yadav and others expressed their opinions while claiming that the intra-party feuds in the Nepal Communist Party had resulted in crisis for democracy.
