PARBAT: A house was buried in a landslide that occurred in Nanglibang VDC-4 of Parbat district last night. However, two occupants of the house were rescued alive.

Belmati Pariyar (60) and her eight-year-old grandson Anish were rescued by the locals, according to police Inspector at the District Police Office, Parbat Sunjit Tamang.

They were asleep when the incident took place. They are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital Parbat.

Though human casualty was averted all goods inside the house including cereals, poultry and clothing were damaged, police said.
