House put off again as Maoist lawmakers walk out

KATHMANDU: The Legislature-Parliament witnessed the postponement of its business on Tuesday afternoon as the lawmakers of main opposition UCPN-Maoist walked out expressing their party's reservation over the budget of Fiscal Year 2015/16.

Speaker Subas Chandra Nembang has called the next meeting of House tomorrow.

The Maoist lawmakers had walked out from the House yesterday also as the Appropriation Bill was tabled and the Speaker asked the House to start theoretical discussion on it.  Lawmakers of CPN-UML, one of the main constituents of the ruling coalition, had also objected to the Bill.
