LAHAN: Mirchaiya Municipality in Lahan has started demolishing houses and walls constructed against criteria inside the municipality area.

The houses and walls constructed on both sides of the road at Mirchaiya Municipality-6 were dismantled for road expansion.

“The Municipality started demolishing the houses and walls after the house owners turned their deaf ears to the public notice issued by the Municipality,” said Mayor Shrawan Yadav.

Some of the house owners have started demolishing their houses after municipality used excavator to demolish their houses.
