Tripathi inducted into RJP-N presidium
Kathmandu, September 3
Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal today decided to induct senior party leader Hridayesh Tripathi in its presidium.
The party took the decision following Tripathi’s long held complaint that party leaders from the western Tarai region were assigned suitable roles in the party and that some of the RJP-N presidium members were his juniors.
In more recent times, Tripathi had grown increasing frustrated with the party’s decision to boycott the second phase of local level elections.
The RJP-N also has formed a political committee with party leaders Mahantha Thakur, Rajendra Mahato, Mahendra Ray Yadav, Sharat Singh Bhandari, Anil Kumar Jha, Raj Kishor Yadav, Hridayesh Tripathi, Sarvendranath Shukla, Brikhesh Chandra Lal, Govind Chaudhari, Bijay Gupta and Laxman Lal Karna.
The other committee members are Narsingh Chaudhary, Mrigendra Kumar Singh, Nawal Kishor Sah, Ram Naresh Ray, Rani Tiwari, Ram Kumar Mandal, Nirjala Raut, Shekhar Kumar Singh, Nilam Verma, Ram Narayan Singh, Malamati Devi Rana Tharu, Gajadhar Yadav, Gangaram Yadav and Chandeshwar Jha, according to a press release issued by the party.
Similarly the party also formed the Central Secretariat Coordination Committee. The CSCC comprises Jitendra Sonal, Manish Kumar Suman, Peshal Dhakal, Keshav Jha, Sunil Rohit, Chandeshwar Prasad Singh and Chanda Chaudhary.
RJP-N also named Kabindranath Thakur, Arun Kumar Singh, Kiran Yadav, Sevaki Devi Das Tatma, Madhuri Sah and Janaki Sharan Sah as members of its Central Financial Committee.
The party has formed a publicity department with Krishna Singh, Santosh Mehta, Dimple Kumari Jha, Amrendra Kumar Sah and Dinesh Kumar Gupta as members.
