BHOJPUR: A woman was beaten to death by her husband in Salpasilichho Rural Municipality-3 of Bhojpur district on Sunday.

Menuka Rai (40), was struck at her abdomen by her husband Harka Bahadur Rai (45) on Saturday night following a domestic dispute, causing complication in her urinary bladder, according to police.

Police informed that Menuka had succumbed to her injuries yesterday.

A team of police deployed from Kulung arrested the husband while Dingla-based Area Police Office is investigating the case, said District Police Office, Bhojpur.
