I will return home soon: PM Oli
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he would return home from the hospital as per the advice of the doctors.
In his message to the nation today, PM Oli has urged all not to be swayed by the false publicity made in some social sites and digital media about his health.
"I am aware of the sensational publicity made about my health. I request all not to be guided from such false publicity," PM Oli added.
NCP (NCP) Co-chair KP Sharma Oli has been undergoing treatment at the Manhohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre in the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Kathmandu since Monday.
In his message, the PM said, he was receiving treatment for seasonal flu and subsequent infection.
He also extended gratitude to the President, Vice-President, leaders of different political parties, representatives of the diplomatic mission in Nepal, governmental officials and all well-wishers home and abroad.
Meanwhile, the hospital released a media brief stating that PM Oli's health was gradually improving.
