IED deactivated in Hetauda
HETAUDA: A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army defused an improvised explosive device (IED) that was found in Hetauda Sub Metropolis-8 today.
According to the Makawanpur District Police Office, an unidentified group had planted the string, commonly known as sutli bomb, on the road connecting Raigai-Kamane-based Industrial corridor.
So far, no untoward incident has been reported in 324 polling centers set up in the district for the election to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies, as stated by Superintendent of Police Bikash Raj Khanal.
