India happy with Nepal, Nepalis: Pranab Mukherjee
KATHMANDU: Indian President Pranab Mukherjee said that India was happy with the development of Nepal and Nepali people.
He made the statement while addressing a programme organised in Janakpur on Friday.
Mukherjee said that India would construct two dharmashalas in Janakpur soon.
During the programme, the Indian President said that four integrated check posts are being made in Birgunj, Biratnagar, Bhirahawa and Nepalgunj.
He further said that the integrated check posts would promote tourism and business in the two countries.
Mukherjee had reached Janakpur this morning.
He also performed a ‘special puja’ at the Janaki Temple.
The Indian President will visit Pokhara today itself.
