Indian aid for school
Kathmandu, February 23:
The government of India is providing an assistance of Rs 2.8 million for the construction of science laboratory, library and a hall for the Shree Secondary School at Simarabhawanipur of Rautahat district.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday between the Embassy of India, the District Development Committee Rautahat and Shree Secondary School, Simarabhawanipur, regarding the grant assistance from the government of India.
According to the embassy of India, an oversight committee consisting the chairman of school management committee, district education officer and engineer of DDC Rautahat has been formed to monitor the project and ensure proper utilization of the grant. The project would benefit the 900 children of the school.
